The students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State staged a protest in Owo local government area of the the state today.
The students who are residents of the town schooling in AAUA took to the streets round the town to protest against the increase in school fees by theOndo government and management ofthe institution.
They were seeing on major streets carrying placards with various descriptionssuch as:
"#NoToAAUAFeeHike", No To Increase in tuition fee", "We can't pay exorbitant amount as tuition fee", amongst others.
It will be recall that the students have been at home for over two months the the tuition fee. The new tuitionfee which was made known last weekranges between N120,000 and N180,000against the previous N23,000 and N30,000.
Just yesterday the students of the school staged a protest in the state capital, Lagos, Ibadan, Osun, amongst others, as they continue their agitation against the new policy of Ondo state government led by Odunayo Akeredolu who hails from the town.
